Ballet Texas is a professional ballet company based in New Braunfels, TX. Our mission is to bring a fresh and innovative point of view to the ballet world, enrich our community with professional-level productions for all ages and demographics to enjoy, and inspire the next generation of dancers. This company provides professional dancers with job opportunities while nurturing an environment of creativity and passion. Our children’s casts give young dancers the opportunity to perform alongside professionals and expand their ballet education.
The Trainee Division of Ballet Texas gives pre-professional dancers ages 16-18 the opportunity to bridge the gap between school and a professional career. Our trainees receive rigorous training 5 days a week in classical ballet, contemporary, pointe, partnering, and repertoire. Trainees are also utilized in every Ballet Texas company production, giving them the chance to dance alongside professional company dancers. The goal of our Trainee Division is to immerse young dancers in the style and repertoire of Ballet Texas and prepare them for a possible promotion into the main company.
